When I’m not running my small business or writing, I am likely reading or spending time with my partner, dog, bunny, and chickens.
I performed spoken word poetry at the 2023 Minneapolis Fringe Festival and was a feature at Poets and Pints in 2025.

Ana is a small business owner with a passion for poetry. After moving to the United States from the Dominican Republic, she began writing to improve her English and quickly developed a love for the language. At the age of 13, she won a Watty Award for a fictional story, which inspired her to continue expressing herself through writing.
Even after achieving her dream job in a lab—inspired by Bill Nye— and starting her own business, Ana couldn’t stop writing. Her debut poetry book, Metamorphosis: Unveiling My Inner Light, was published in August 2023. Her latest book, Photosynthesis, will be released March 3rd, 2025. Ana’s poems have been showcased at the 2023 Minneapolis Fringe Festival and featured on Poets and Pints.
